It’s rare that dogs cannot consume capelin. However, many dogs are unsure about seafood and whole fish. Your dog may take some time to become interested.

Why should I feed Capelin?

Capelin is high in protein, B12, and rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. It is also a good source of calcium, phosphorus, iodine, and selenium.

Can dogs have Capelin allergies?

Capelin allergies and sensitivities are rare. However, if your dog has a sensitivity to capelin, sardines or anchovies are a great alternative.
